Hi, I'm Robert Eberz.  I've been making things for as long as I can remember, and for the past 30 plus years, it's been my career.  I grew up all over as a military brat before landing a BFA from the University of Texas at Tyler.   I spent around 15 years working in film and television as an art director and production designer.  The experience gave me another way of thinking about storytelling and images.  BUT, I've never been good at staying in one lane.  I've painted, I've sculpted, I've built props and dimensional pieces, experimenting and following whatever idea feels alive.  Some of that work has shown up in magazines, TV, and film.  Along the way, I've illustrated more than 35 children's books published for the trade and educational markets, and I've had the good fortune to work with publishers like HarperCollins and Scholastic, to name a few.  I am also the licensed illustrator for the Splat the Cat:  I Can Read series. My next adventure is starting a YouTube channel.  After years in publishing, film, and the studio, I figure it's time to pass some of it along - my process, methods, tips, tricks, and probably a few mistakes too.

Thanks for stopping by!

-Robert
